Virat Kohli also known as King Kohli, is considered one of the best batsmen of the era. He is the former captain of the Indian National Team and plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. Kohli has captained Indian Cricket Team for over 200 matches in all three formats.

Kohli first played for the Delhi Under-15 team in October 2002 and became captain of the Polly Umrigar Trophy team (2003-04). Kohli made his ODI debut on 18th August 2008, against Sri Lanka.

He made his debut in Test matches in 2011 and reached the number one spot in the ICC rankings for ODI Batsman. 

As of December 2021, Kohli has made 70 centuries and 7 double centuries in International cricket. Out of these, 27 centuries, 7 double centuries in Test Cricket, and 43 Centuries in ODIs.

Virat Kohli has started a charity fund for helping underprivileged kids called Virat Kohli Foundation.

Kohli dated Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for four years, the couple soon gained much popularity and earned the celebrity couple nickname as “Virushka”, but they never talked about it publicly. Later, they married on 11 December 2017 in a private ceremony in Florence, Italy and on 11 January 2021, they became parents to a baby girl, named Vamika.
