Valorant Reveals Slots, Dates, Circuit Points And Location For Champions Tour, VCT Masters Stage-1 2022: Are Fans Allowed? Know Everything Here

Valorant Masters, VCT 2022 Dates, Slots, And Location: Valorant has now officially revealed all the details for the upcoming Masters Stage-1. Moreover, the tournament will be a LAN event and will be held for 2 weeks in April.

Currently, the Challengers Series are ongoing for most of the regions and soon we will have our list of teams who will be playing at Masters. Valorant also revealed that they’re considering allowing fans and they’re working on it.

So, let’s have a look on where the tournament will be held and what are the dates.

Valorant Champions Tour, VCT Masters Stage-1 2022: Dates, Slots, And Location

Alike Masters-1 of 2021, the tournament will be played in Reykjavík which is Iceland’s capital. When the tournament was last played in Reykjavík, Sentinels won it without even losing a map.

VCT Stage-1 masters will start from April 10th and will continue till 14th April.

Teams And Slots

A total of 12 teams will qualify for the Masters stage-1, from their respective regions. Here are the slots distribution”

  • North America:2
  • Brazil: 1
  • BR/ LATAM: 1
  • LATAM: 1
  • EMEA: 3
  • Korea: 1
  • APAC: 2
  • Japan: 1

The officials have also released the circuit point rewards for Masters:

  • 1st: 750
  • 2nd: 500
  • 3rd: 400
  • 4th: 300
  • 5th: 250
  • 6th: 250
  • 7th: 200
  • 8th: 200
  • 9th: 150
  • 10th: 150

  • 12th: 125

As usual, the winner of the Masters will receive a huge sum of winning prize and will qualify for Champions which is scheduled in September.

The second Masters which is Stage-2 is scheduled for July. Following that are Last Chance qualifiers, where one team from each of the regions qualifies for the Champions.

It is expected that Riot will host Masters Stage-2 and Champions yet again in Berlin as they did last year.

Winners Of Masters And Champions of 2021



North American team Sentinels won the first Masters which was a LAN event in Reykjavík. Furthermore, Gambit esports defeated Envy to claim the 2nd Masters which was held in Berlin.

However, none of both the teams won the Champions and it was Acend who defeated Gambit to lift the Champions trophy at the end of the year.
