Twitter Reacts As Philippe Coutinho Scores Once Again For Aston Villa

Looks like, Philippe Coutinho is not in a mood to stop his great comeback in Premier League anytime soon as he scored once again and this time against Leeds United. This was Coutinho’s 4th goal for Aston Villa since joining them in the winter transfer window.

Coutinho scored the first goal and broke the deadlock. He scored almost from the 30-yard box with the help of a Matty Cash’s pass. Let’s know more in detail and some stats related to Coutinho.

Philippe Coutinho Gives Villa The Early Lead Against Leeds United

Aston Villa hosted Leeds United at Elland Road for a game that was earlier canceled due to the pandemic. Interestingly, this was the first game for Leeds’ new manager Jesse Marsch.

However, it was Steven Gerrard’s team who gained the lead on the match with Coutinho’s goal. The Brazilian scored in the 22nd minute to break the deadlock. This took Coutinho’s goal and assist contribution for Aston Villa at 7 in 8 games.

Coutinho’s return to Premier League looks like a revival to his career. In his very first match, he helped Villa to grab a point from Manchester United as he scored and assisted to make the score 2-2.

Now after his 4th goal tonight, here is an interesting stat.
