Not only from international cricket but players are also picked from domestic leagues. In the 2022 IPL mega auction, many players got their value but many legends also went unsold this year.

  • SURESH RAINA( base price- 2 crore)

Suresh Raina, the Mr. IPL is marked as unsold in the IPL 2022 mega auction. Despite being one of the most consistent players in the IPL he went unsold which is unexpected for the fans and general audience.

Suresh Raina’s journey started from CSK and he was one of the key players behind the success of the CSK franchise. Suresh Raina is one of the players who has the highest batting average in the IPL. The journey of Mr.I PL might come to an end but fans believed that he might be sold on the second day of the auction.

  • DAVID MILLER(base price-1 crore)

The destructive left-hand batsman of South Africa who is known as killer MILER went unsold in the mega auction of 2022. David Miller started his IPL journey from Punjab and played for different teams in different seasons.

He was bought by Rajasthan Royals in the 2020 IPL season. His consistency is a big reason for his IPL carrier.

  • SHAKIB-AL-HASAN(base price-2 crore)

The Bangladeshi star all-rounder Shakib AL Hasan has also gone unsold in this IPL mega auction of 2022. Despite being in great form in the domestic leagues of Bangladesh he was not approached by franchises.

He started his IPL journey from KKR and played his last match for KKR in the 2017 IPL season. His bad temper and being in controversy is might be the reason for his unsold in IPL 2022 mega auction.

  • STEVEN SMITH(base price-2 crore)

Previous Australian caption and a key play for his team the right-handed classic batsman went unsold in the IPL auction of 2022. He started his IPL career from RR and become a key player for RR in many IPL seasons.

In the 2021 IPL season, he was bought by the DELHI CAPITALS but he can’t perform as per the expectation of the franchise.

  • WRIDDHIMAN SAHA(base price-1 crore)

The right-handed wicket-keeper of India, Wriddhiman Saha has been unsold in the mega auction of the 2022 IPL season. Saha started his IPL  journey from Punjab and played as the permanent wicket-keeper for PUNJAB.

Later, he was released by PBKS. Saha played his last IPL in 2021 for SRH. Despite being a wonderful keeper his low batting average and consistency is always work as a question mark in his carrier

  • Amit Mishra (base price-1.5 Crore)

Amit Mishra is one of the top bowlers when it comes to wickets taken in IPL. However, that was not enough for the spinner to impress any of the team owners as he went unsold.
