Mumbai’s victory helped Royal Challengers Banglore to qualify for the next round(playoffs) as Delhi Capitals with 14 points were knocked out of the race.
David played a tremendous knock of 34 off 11 balls that changed the game for Mumbai. Tilak’s good knock of 21 under pressure also contributed to the winning cause.

It was Bumrah who was the top performer for Mumbai Indians with his three wickets restricting Delhi to a score of 159.

Asked to bat first, Delhi Capitals lost their top order early as 31 runs which had put pressure on the skipper Rishabh Pant. Rishabh played too many dot balls and failed to rotate strike.

Powell’s big shots helped Delhi to fight total. He scored 43 runs off 34 balls hitting 4 sixes and a four.
