The right-hand destructive batsman Shreyas Iyer and team India’s star allrounder Ravindra Jadeja have played exceptionally well against Srilanka in the 2nd t20 match. Iyer who has been given a chance to play at no.3 in this Srilanka series has proved how good is his batting skills whereas Ravindra Jadeja who has always done the magic with the ball has also been promoted up the order and he somehow proves what he is capable of.
Iyer and Jadeja are one of the reasons behind the dominance of the Indian team at the international level. Despite being lack of two important members Virat Kohli and Surya Kumar Yadav the Indian team has performed exceptionally well and proved that they are ready for the upcoming ICC tournaments.

The second match of the T20 series between India and Srilanka has been played in the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, Himachal Pradesh. India won the toss and elected to bowl first, the pitch is looking good and Srilankan openers Prathum Nissanka 75(53) and Gunatilaka 38(29) are in good touch and made a 58 runs stand for the first wicket. The first breakthrough of the match has been bought by Ravindra Jadeja after making Gunatilaka back to the pavilion. Then Indian bowlers started dominating the match by taking three important wickets of Asalanka 2(4), Kamil Mishra 1(4), and Dinesh Cahandimal 9(10). Srilankan Captain Shanaka 47(19) fought alone and take his team to a fighting total of 184.

The chase started and India lose two early wickets in the face of Rohit Sharma 1(2) and Ishan Kishan 16(15), the Srilankan pacers Chammera and Kumara did pretty well but the remarkable innings of Shreyas Iyer 74(44) have completely changed the direction of the match. After the wicket of Sanju Samson 39(25), Ravindra Jadeja 45(18) joined Iyer and their partnership of 58 runs in 24 balls drive India towards a comfortable victory.
“It was important, for the middle-order to come and string together a partnership that was good to see. It’s happened quite a few times over the past few games” says Indian captain Rohit Sharma.
