Cricket is a sport where people easily get stardom and popularity after showcasing their talent to the world but what if a person with both skills and temperament doesn’t get a chance to showcase their talent at the international level. The same thing is happening with the right-handed destructive opener and a class batsman for India, Ruturaj Gaikwad who has been on the bench for the three consecutive series, this time reason being injury.Â
Ruturaj who has a dream IPL in the 2021 season has been added to the Indian squad during New Zealand, West Indies, and Sri Lanka series have only played one match in the three series.

 The extraordinary player for India, Ruturaj Gaikwad
The player who has some extraordinary skills Ruturaj Gaikwad should be given the chance to play at least two matches in a row. Despite being a stable team the team India management should give a chance and confidence to the youngsters like Gaikwad who has been waiting for his time to roar and shows the world what he is.
Ruturaj who is the orange cap holder in the 2021 IPL season and the highest run-getter in the Vijay Hazare trophy has something extraordinary in his batting skills, Gaikwad is an excellent player of spin but he also has a high strike rate against the pacers. Despite the team having much more experienced players than Gaikwad he at least deserves a chance in the playing XI of the team.
For the game against Sri Lanka, he was ruled out due to injury.
Down with confidence
Every player who loves the game has a dream to play for his national team but Ruturaj who has been selected for three consecutive has only been given a chance to play a one-match which is not enough for a youngster like Gaikwad as a result he should be lacking with self-esteem and confidence.
”Maybe I will get a chance or maybe not but being with the team is enough for me, Rohit and other team members teach me different things which enhance my skills and that’s enough for me” says Ruturaj Gaikwad.

May the team management has a better and different thought for Ruturaj Gaikwad but he may be added to the playing XI during the Sri Lanka series. A promising youngster like him should not be added to the squad only for warming benches.
