Rockstar Games took to Twitter to announce some big news on 4th February including the GTA 6 release date and developments. The official Twitter handle of the developing company confirmed that the next series of GTA is in process and they’ll be announcing it when they will be ready.
However, this is too early to guess the title of the next series. As we all know, Rockstar games take its time to release the game after revealing the title and trailer. So, even if they announce the title at the end of this year which is 2022, the game might launch in 2023 or in 2024.Â

When Rockstar Games Will Announce The Release Date of GTA 6?
As the aforementioned Tweet says, the next series is still in development. This means, there is a lot of time to get hands-on the GTA 6. A famous leaker of the game, Tom Henderson dropped a video regarding the same and guessed the release date of GTA 6. According to him, the game might release in 2024-25.Â
The last series of GTA was GTA V and was released back in 2013. Moreover, it’s almost a decade now since the fans have witnessed something new from the Rockstar Games. However, the arrival of GTA Online gave some hope to the fans, but it failed to stand to the expectations of the fans.
If Henderson’s guess is true, which practically seems to be true, GTA fans will witness a new series after 11 years or more than that. Interestingly, Rockstar games also announced the arrival of GTA V and GTA Online on the next-gen console.
GTA V and GTA Online For PS5 and Xbox
Rockstar Games confirmed that the two series will be now available on Playstation 5 and on Xbox Series X. Furthermore, both of the games will be available on the consoles from March 15.

Fans are excited to see what Rockstar games have introduced with this new release. Rumors also suggest that there will be a new map, which is not 100% true.
