Rishabh Pant Fastest Half Century Record: As with the ODI series India is dominating over Sri Lanka in the test matches too. This series is very important from the Indian perspective as India is playing a pink ball test match in this series.

This 2nd match of the test series will be remembered by Rishabh Pant for a long time as Pant has scored the fastest 50 for India in test cricket and broke the 40-year-old record of the legend Kapil Dev.

Rishabh Pant Is The New Record Holder For Fastest Half Century By Indian In Test

The destructive wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant smashed a destructive half-century in just 28 balls during the 2nd test match against Srilanka. Pant’s 28 balls half-century is now standing as the fastest 50 for India in test matches. Previously Kapil Dev has owned this record as he made a half-century in just 30 balls against  Pakistan in 1982.

Pant’s innings had 7 fours and 2 massive sixes which shows his class and temperament. Rishabh Pant has been a key player for the India team and his natural ability to hit sixes and a class batting skill made him more valuable for India.
