Pant’s 28 balls half-century is now standing as the fastest 50 for India in test matches. Previously Kapil Dev has owned this record as he made a half-century in just 30 balls against Pakistan in 1982.

As far as today’s innings was just a short clip of Pant’s batting but this inning has somehow shown that Rishabh is back in form. Pant has shown a different approach in this series as he played his natural game which as a result made him score runs all overground.
