Nathan Coulter-Nile picked up by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 mega auction is ruled out of the remaining season due to a side strain. Coulter-Nile was part of the playing 11 against Sunrisers Hyderabad where they won by 61 runs.
He left the field before his 4 overs and Navdeep Saina replaced him. There is not much information about his injury but Rajasthan Royals confirmed that he will not be part of the rest of the season because of his injury.

Nathan Coulter-Nile said, ” It’s good to be picked by royals. they have carried a solid reputation on the field and have been one of the tougher teams to beat in this competition, no matter what the situation of the game”.
“For me, the target is to help win the trophy for the royals obviously I love to be out there and help the team but in a long tournament, you have to be ready for anything the management asks you to do and just prepare you for the long haul”, said Coulter two weeks ago.
In the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he conceded 48 runs in three overs.
RR continues to lead the points table after winning two opening games against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. However, they faced defeat against RCB.

Cutting has a decent experience in playing IPL and has played for Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Kolkata Knight Riders. He has a deceptive bouncer and is an explosive lower-order batter.In the PSL he had a strike rate of 164.16 playing for Peshawar Zalmi
He could be a perfect replacement for Nathan Coulter- Nile because of his experience
Dasun Shanaka (SRI LANKA)
Shanaka was impressive in the away series against the Indian Team. He scored 124 runs at an average of 124. The Sri Lankan skipper played a magnificent inning of 74 in Dharamshala.
He also bowls medium pace and has 38 wickets. Shanaka has scored 2985 runs in T20. Having performed well in Indian conditions it will be no surprise if RR offers him a contract.
David Wiese(South Africa)
He has played for Royal Challengers in the past and did miracles for RCB. Wiese was part of St. Lucia Kings in the CPL and was very impressive. The veteran has played a total of 289 T20 matches and has scored 3276 runs and taken 224 wickets.
Wiese could return after a long gap if RR offers him a contract.
Hayden Kerr(Australia)
He is an uncapped Australian player and RR can offer him a contract as he is in the bio bubble. Kerr did an excellent job in Big Bash League playing for Sydney Sixers. He is a left-arm fast bowler and right-hand batter.
He bagged 25 wickets in 16 innings and scored 98 runs against Adelaide Strikers.
