As of now, BMOC scrims have ended and BGIS will be starting soon. In this tight schedule, an Esports company is about to host a tournament: Penta Collegiate BGMI. The registration for this tournament had already begun and the registration closes on the 4th of May.
Penta Esports is the revolution for esports in India. It hosts leagues, tournaments, content, and more. Here are the details for the Penta Collegiate Bgmi tournament.
Format of Penta Collegiate BGMI
The Penta Collegiate BGMI tournament will be starting on 6 & 7 May. The Penta Collegiate will follow this format.
Round1: In total, 512 teams will participate, divided into 32 groups and playing five matches each. The top 8 squads from each group will be qualified for the next round. So there will be a total of 256 teams who will advance to the second round.
Round 2: The 256 teams, divided into 16 groups playing five matches each. The top 8 teams from each group qualify for the next round. So, there will be 64 teams that will advance to the 3rd round.
Round 3:Â The 64 teams, divided into 4 groups playing six matches each. Similarly in Rounds 1 & 2, the top 8 teams will be qualified for the next round. At the end of Round 3, 32 teams will move to the Final Round.
Round 4: A total of 64 teams will compete in Round 4 – 32 teams from Round 3 and 32 invited teams. Further divided into 4 groups and each team will play 6 matches. The top 6 teams from each group will be marked as qualified for the main event.
At the end of Round 4, the top 24 teams will advance to a three-day finale. Where they have to play 6 matches each day and the team with the most points will win the Penta Collegiate BGMI tournament.

The schedule for the Penta Collegiate BGMI tournament is as follows:
5th May – Groups announced for Qualifier 1.
6th and 7th May – Round 1
8th & 9th May – Round 2
10th May – Round 3
11th May – Round 4
16th May – Finals Day 1
17th May – Finals Day 2
18th May – Finals Day 3 (End of the tournament)
Prize Pool Of The Tournament
The Penta Collegiate BGMI tournament has a total prize pool of 15,00,000 INR. The winner of the tournament will be awarded 5,00,000 INR whereas the teams who get the 2nd and 3ed positions will be awarded 3,00,000 and 2,00,000 INR.
There are different prizes for each team who will take their spot in the top 8 in the qualifier 1 and 2. The prize pool varies from 75,000- to 5000 INR for the teams who get their pace in the top 1 to 8 positions.
