20-years old, Mason Greenwood came on the front page of media houses after his girlfriend alleged him in several cases including rape. As of now, the Manchester United star has been arrested twice and is out on bail. Greenwood’s girlfriend has now shared a post on her Instagram handle where she has thanked everyone for supporting her.
The news broke out when Greenwood’s girlfriend shared a few pictures and videos of her. In the pictures, she was seen bleeding and there were several marks on her body.
What Did Mason Greenwood’s Girlfriend Said?
In an Instagram post, Harriet Robson, girlfriend of Mason Greenwood, showed her gratitude to her supporters. He also exclaimed that these few days were tough for her and now she’s on a break.
She wrote, “I’m grateful to everyone that has sent messages of support and encouragement- thank you.” She added, “The last few days has been very difficult and I’m taking a break from social media while the police makes their investigation”.

Earlier, Greenwood spent three nights in police custody, before getting bail. However, he was arrested again on the suspicion of threats to kill and assault later day. He is now released but has not marked his presence anywhere since the allegations broke out.
Manchester United has also suspended the player for an indefinite time and expressed their criticism over a social media post. Manager Ralf Rangnick also explained that the incident has affected the players in camp.
Greenwood’s sponsors, Nike also released their statement over the issue and announced that they have now suspended their relationships with the Manchester Striker. Greenwood is now also snubbed by his teammates as most of his teammates including Ronaldo, Pogba, and Rashford have unfollowed him from Instagram.
EA also removed Greenwood’s card from FIFA and players are not able to see the 20-year’s old card further.
