Andreas Pereira, one of Manchester United’s academy graduates will now join Brazilian side Flamengo on a permanent deal. Currently, he is serving for the team on a loan. According to several rumors, Manchester United have now reached an agreement to sell the midfielder.
Pereira joined Flamengo in 2021 and appeared 24 times for the team. He scored 5 goals, all coming in the league matches.

Pereira made his debut in 2014, under the management of Louis Van Gaal. However, he enjoyed most of his playing time at United under Ole Gunnar Solskjær. During this 8 years, Pereira played for 4 different teams on loan.

In 2016, he joined the Spanish side, Granada, on loan for one season. Later on, he served his loan at Valencia during the 2017-18 season. Before joining Flamengo on loan, the Brazilian played for Italian club Lazio during the 2020-21 season.
According to rumors, the transfer fee is said to be €12 million with add ons. Considering his contract expiry date, which is 2023, a double-digit transfer fee is not a bad deal for the Red Devils.

Manchester United has a midfield filled with stars with the likes of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, and Matic. However, Fred and McTominay have been decent and manager Ralf Rangnick was considering the Brazilian to bring back. But as per the reports, the deal is done and Pereira is now a Flamengo player.
