List of All Coaches Of IPL Teams For 2022 Season

IPL 2022 coaches: 15th Season of the Indian Premier League is all set to start off from the 26th of March. Fans are filled with new hopes and excitement with the addition of newly formed teams that are Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans.

This year we will see some legendary cricketers as the mentors and coaches of the teams such as Ashish Nehra and Brian Lara. Thus, cricket fans will be able to see their all-time favorites once again this year. Let’s look at the list of coaches for IPL 2022.

Mumbai Indians

Mahela Jayawardene is the IPL 2022 coach for Mumbai Indians teams, the top titleholders of the league. He was appointed as the coach of the Mumbai Indians team back in 2016 and under his leadership, the team won the IPL trophy in 2017 and also received the title back-to-back in 2019 and 2020. Jayawardene is also the consulting coach of the Sri Lankan team and his salary as a Mumbai Indians coach is Rs 2.30 crore.

Also batting, bowling, and fielding coach of the team is Robin Singh, Shane bond, and James Pamment respectively.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Sanjay Banger is the head coach of the team in IPL 2022. He is a former allrounder Indian cricketer and has represented the Indian team in various Test Crickets and ODI matches. Sanjay Banger is highly respected as a coach and was previously the coach of Team India and has also been Royal Challengers Bangalore’s batting coach.

And the Batting coach is S Sriram, the Bowling coach is Adam Griffith and the Fielding coach is Sankar Basu.

Chennai Super Kings

Stephen Fleming will be representing the Chennai Super Kings team as a Head coach. Fleming is New Zealand’s Cricket team’s coach and also the former captain of the New Zealand Cricket team. He is popular for his tactical skills and is also New Zealand’s second most capped player with 111 appearances in Test Cricket. As a head coach of CSK Stephen Fleming has a salary of Rs.3.5 Crore.

Apart from the head coach, Michael Hussey is the batting coach of the team, L Balaji is the bowling coach along with Rajiv Kumar as fielding coach.

Delhi Capitals

Ricky Pointing is the coach of the Delhi Capitals Team in IPL 2022 as the Team has played fairly under his leadership and has also been in the playoffs thrice, consecutively. Pointing is the only captain who has won World Cup twice being a captain.

And the Batting coach is Mohammad Kaif, the bowling coach is Samuel Badree, Ryan Harris, and Rajinikanth Sivagnanam is the fielding coach.

Also, Ricky has a salary of Rs 3.5 crore as the head coach of the team.

Punjab Kings

Anil Kumble is the coach of Punjab kings in this season of IPL. He is the former coach and commentator of the Indian National Team and has played for over 18 years in Test Crickets and ODIs. Anil receives a sum of a total of Rs 4 crore as the head coach of the Punjab Kings team.

Also, other coaches are Wasim Jaffer (Batting coach), Damien Wright (Bowling coach), and Jonty Rhodes (fielding coach).

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Tom Moody is the head coach of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in IPL 2022. Tom is currently the director of cricket of Sri Lanka cricket and was the former player in Australia Cricket Team. He also has held numerous coaching roles in the IPL.

Also, the team has Simon Katich as the Assistant Coach, Brian Lara as Strategic adviser & Batting coach Dale Steyn as Pace Bowling coach, Muthiah Muralitharan as spin Bowling Coach, and Hemang Badani as the fielding coach.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Brendon McCullum is the current coach of the team for IPL in 2022. McCullum is the coach of New Zealand’s national team and also the former cricketer in the New Zealand team. He also holds the record for 1st cricketer to make 100 consecutive test appearances. And receives a total of Rs 3.4 crore as his salary for the head coach in the IPL Team.

And Batting coach is Abhishek Nayar, the Bowling coach is Carl Crowe, Kyle Mills, and the Fielding coach is James Foster.

Rajasthan Royals

Kumar Sangakkara is chosen as Rajasthan Royals coach for this season of IPL. Kumar is a Sri Lankan cricketer and has played for almost 15 years now. He has also been introduced to the ICC Hall of fame and is considered one of the greatest wicket-keepers of all time.

Also, the Batting coach is Amol Mazumdar, the bowling coach is Sairaj Bahutule, Rob Cassell, and the fielding coach is Dishant Yagnik. Lasith Malinga is the latest addition to the coaching team.

Lucknow Super Giant

Andy Flower is the IPL 2022 coach of the newly formed team for the current season. Andy is a Zimbabwean Cricket coach and is also the former player of the Zimbabwean cricket team. He is also remarked as one of the greatest batsmen of the country.

Along with Andy, the Team Mentor is Gautam Gambhir and Assistant Coach is Vijay Dahiya.

Gujarat Titans

Ashish Nehra is the coach of the newly launched Gujarat Titans team. He is a former cricketer who played cricket for India in all formats. And is also considered as the most classical left-armed bowler. Also, the team has chosen Gary Kristen as the Batting coach and the mentor of the team.
