French defender Kurt Zouma is now in some huge trouble as a video of him kicking his cat went viral. The West Ham player can be seen slapping and kicking his cat in his home. He also chases the cat into his dining room before slapping on the face.
Zouma’s brother, Yoan filmed the clipped and posted it on Snapchat. Reacting to that, many fans believed it is a horrible thing to do, especially with your pets.

Kurt Zouma Says He’s Sorry About The Cat Incident
Zouma has now opened up about the incident and has accepted his mistake. The former Chelsea man has issued his apologies and has said that he is deeply sorry. He said, “I also want to say how deeply sorry I am to anyone who was upset by the video.”
He added, “I would like to assure everyone that our two cats are perfectly fine and healthy. They are loved and cherished by our entire family, and this behavior was an isolated incident that will not happen again.”
On the incident, the Police have confirmed that they will not be investigating the issue. This means, there’s a sigh of relief for the defender.

Zouma As A Footballer
After spending 7 years with Chelsea(most of the time on loan), Zouma joined West Ham United in 2021. He is a defender and is well known for his tacking skills.
Zouma plays for France and made his debut in 2015. He won the UEFA Champions League in 2021 with Chelsea.
Zouma also won the Chelsea Young Player of the Year for 2014-15 in his debut season.
