Is James Harden-Ben Simmons Trade Deal Confirmed By Officials?

The whole trade season was filled with the James Harden-Ben Simmons deal. As of now, the deal is now close than ever and it’s almost confirmed by several sources. But, is the Harden-Simmons trade deal really confirmed by officials? If not, then when it will be confirmed.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, who is an NBA Insider at NBA, confirmed the news about the trade. However, it has not been made official yet. So, let’s know more about it and find out when it will be confirmed.

When James Harden-Ben Simmons Trade Deal Confirmed Will Be Confirmed?

James Harden wanted out of Nets, as he failed to appear along with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant for a number of times. Durant is now injured and Irving can only play away matches due to his vaccination reasons. This left Harden alone at the Nets many times.

On the other hand, Ben Simmons also refused to appear for 76ers. After his performance last season in the playoffs, he received several backlashes and decided not to appear for 76ers.

Rumors suggest Harden is very close to the 76ers’ front office and this has played a major role in the trade deal. As per the deal, Ben Simmons will join Nets and will form a trio along with Irving and Durant.

Interestingly, there are other several names involved in the deal. And sources suggest the deal is not confirmed because of them.

According to Keith, 76ers are refusing to trade Matisse Thybulle in the deal. Nets will be receiving Seth Curry, Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond and two-round picks drafts for James Harden and Paul Millsap.

So, the deal is not confirmed but many media channels have confirmed the arrival of James Harden to the 76ers. Let’s have a look.

James Harden joined Nets in 2021 after refusing 76ers. Now, after teaming up with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant for only 16 matches, the former Rockets man will be leaving Nets for 76ers.

It will be interesting to watch him pairing with Joel Embiid who is in form. Nets are currently on 8th in the table after losing 9 consecutive matches. On the other hand 76ers are in 5th and are looking comfortable for the play offs.

Moreover, the deal is supposed to be confirmed by today as it’s the trade deadline day. What are your thoughts on this, let us know in the comment section below.
