After the sudden disappearance of India’s one of the favorite battle royale games, Free Fire from the play store, many fans are assuming that the game is now banned. However, the cause of the removal of the game is not revealed yet, but we have some reactions to it.
As of now, the game is not available on the play store and Apple store. Also, players who have installed the game, are not able to make any purchase in the game.
According to the latest reports, the Government has banned 50 Chinese apps. However, the list is not revealed yet, but the unavailability of free fire from the stores might have something to do with this.
Is Free Fire Banned: Streamers React To Free Fire Removal From Play Store
There are no announcements made by any of the officials regarding the ban of the game. However, Garena addressed the issue and commented on a Facebook post that they are aware of the issue and trying to resolve it.
The sudden disappearance of the game left its players with a lot of questions. Many speculate that it’s now banned, many are claiming that it’s a glitch. However, Garena’s statement can be a positive sign for its players as they try to resolve it.
One of India’s biggest gamers and streamer Total Gaming, also known as Ajjubhai, who is a renowned name in the free-fire community took to Twitter to share his views. Interestingly, he was also confused and asked his fans, whether the game is now banned in the country.

Addressing the issue, another famous streamer Desi gamer jokingly said that, he need the help of Minecraft players, incase the Free fire is now banned.

Nothing official has been made from the government side on the ban of the game. Also, Garena has not addressed something related to the banning of the game. This means, there might be some glitch from the store.
But, it is a sign of concern because the game is now unavailable from both the Play Store and Apple store.
Can Government Ban Free Fire From India?
Indian government earlier banned a similar battle royale game PUBG Mobile. Notably, the game is now back in India with some changes and with a different name.
So, the government can surely ban a game if it violates the rule. But, if they do so, they’ll surely drop an announcement for such.
According to the latest reports, a total of 50 Chinese apps have been banned. The list will be revealed shortly, we will know that if there is free fire in it.
