Indian Premier League, the most awaited league of the year is all set to start. Cricket fans are filled with excitement to see their favorite teams and cheer for them sources have said that the match will start from the 2nd of April until June however official dates are yet to be confirmed by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket of India).   Â
But this fifteenth season of IPL is going to be different, much bigger, better, and more exciting than ever because of the addition of two more teams in the league which are Lucknow Super Giants and Gujrat Titans.
IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Players Lucknow Super Giants And Gujarat Titans Bought On Day-1Â
The IPL mega auction of 2022 is being held in Bengaluru there are a total of 600 players in the auction and is already setting the record for the most expensive biddings to date. Apart from the mega IPL auction many teams have already decided on their captains, but some teams are still searching for the best ones, the level of expectations has already been raised.
As two more debuting teams have joined the IPL, the owners, coaches, support staff, the scouts of the 10 teams instead of the regular 8 have joined the bidding war in the two-day long IPL mega auction that started today. The teams are all set to steal their favorite players for the game.

Lucknow Super Giant, one of the two new teams that will appear in the IPL 2022, the representative of the team Sanjeev Goenka Group was previously running the Rising Pune team in 2016 and 2017 has made a comeback after four years and bought the Lucknow franchise for over Rs 7000 crore.
The BCCI has also said both the new franchises to sign three players each. LSG has signed KL Rahul (17 crores) they have made a pretty strong start by this, Marcus Stoinis (9.2crores) and Ravi Bishnoi (4 crores) under this rule, also the Lucknow franchise has made Rahul its captain.

Gujarat Titans the other new franchise of the IPL 2022, the representative of the franchise Siddharth Patel has also said that “we want this group to achieve good things for Gujarat and its passionate fans, which is the reason why we have chosen the name, Titans”.
The team is already filled with the first three key players Hardik Pandya for 15 crores leading the side, Shubman Gill for 8 crores, and Rashid Khan too for 15 crores. Hardik Pandya is most likely to captain the team.
