Pakistan all format skipper Babar Azam was on Monday voted as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March.
Babar played some thrilling knocks in Pakistan’s multi-format series against Australia recently.
In the recently concluded Benaud-Qadir Trophy against Australia, Azam was the third-highest run-scorer after Usman Khwaja and Abdullah Shafique.

Babar Azam’s Performance Against Australia
He scored 390 runs at an average of 78 which included two half-centuries and a century.
It was because of his brilliant knock of 196 runs in the second Test at Karachi, that the match drew against Australia.

Babar’s outstanding performance in the three-match ODI series against Australia in March made him a standout player in international cricket.
His score of 57 and 114 – helped his side to win the ODI series 2-1.
The Pakistan captain received the award ahead of West Indies’ Kraigg Brathwaite and Australian Test skipper Pat Cummins and in doing so he became the first player to win the ICC Men’s Player of the month award on two occasions.

Speaking about Azam’s tremendous performance in March, Daren Ganga who is a member of the voting panel and former West Indies former played said
