Ferdinand said,“I think Man United will get there. They’ll get the goals to win the right amount of games to keep them in the top four…but I can’t be overly confident about that.”
United failed to secure those three important points against Burnley as they finished level after 90 minutes. Now, they’re on 6th, behind Arsenal and West Ham. Arsenal secured a tight win against the Wolves and are now leveled with Manchester United with 39 points. Arsenal have also played 22 games and have one extra game in hand when compared to Manchester United.
On the other hand, West Ham are now on 4th 40 points. However, they have played 24 games, which gives Man United and Arsenal a fighting stance.
Top 3 teams are Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester, who find themselves stable at their positions.
Manchester United’s Problem This Season

United have conceded 31 goals this season, which is the worst among Premier League top 9 teams. On top of that, they have failed to score from set-pieces, especially from corners. Despite having great players with heading abilities like Ronaldo, Pogba, and Maguire, the team has failed to score a single goal from the corner this season.
Apart from all this, the team has been inconsistent throughout the season. Adding to that, the red devils have also failed to score more than one goal on numerous occasions.
This might come as another trophyless season for the club. It will be interesting to see how the club performs in the Champions League.
