Due to privacy and security reasons, the government asked Google and other platforms to suspend the game.

As of now, the game is not available to download from most of the play stores. Notably, the servers are still working fine and players are able to play the game.
However, there are still some websites and app stores from where players will be able to download the APK version of BGMI even after the ban. TapTap is one of the most famous websites and it is still allowing the game to download. Interestingly, platforms like ApkPure and GetApps(MI Store) also removed the game. In this case, OBB file is not required and players can directly install the game.
