For most of the time, it was Lewis Hamilton who was leading the race. However, a car crash in the final few laps from Williams’ driver Nicholas Latifi allowed the safety car to come in which changed all.
In the end, a controversial decision from race director Michael Masi allowed Max Verstappen who was on new tires to take the lead on Lewis Hamilton. As a result, Max Verstappen grabbed his first F1 Championship, and that too in style.
After all these incidents, fans are excited for the Drive to Survive series which is a Netflix Exclusive. Furthermore, the documentary series will show everything including behind the scenes of races. It’ll be interesting to see all the happenings behind the scene, especially of the Abu Dhabi race.
