Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante to miss FIFA World Cup 2022: This year FIFA World Cup will be played in Qatar starting on 20th November with the qualifying rounds. The current champion of the tournament France (2018) are in trouble as two of their star players from the 2018 World Cup, Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante will not a part of the upcoming World Cup this year.
France is among one of the strongest teams out of the 32 national teams but this year it is a tough call for France as two players of France’s National Team are already out due to their respective injuries.

N’Golo Kante to miss FIFA World Cup 2022
Kante was all set to play in the 2022 FIFA World Cup but on Tuesday, October 18 Chelsea announced that the player would be out of the game for four months.
He will have to undergo surgery due to his hamstring injury and will explore the options for rehabilitation. Chelsea quoted “N’Golo Kante has undergone an operation for his hamstring injury, “Following a successful Operation, N’Golo is now expected to be sidelined for four months”.
Kante was also part of the winning squad of the France National team four years ago in FIFA 2018 held in Russia, where he was an excellent contributor to the win. Along with a loss for France at FIFA World Cup 2022, Chelsea was also unhappy with the news as the club had a promising start in the Premier League.
Paul Pogba also to miss the World Cup
After the dismissal of Kante in the world cup Paul Pogba is next to be ruled out from the team in Qatar due to a knee injury. It has been particular that Pogba has not played since his return to Juventus from Manchester United. Pogba’s agent also stated that the player needs some more time for his rehabilitation.
The two players’ withdrawal from the world cup is a major misfortune for France’s preparation for the match. France will start their world cup against Australia on 23rd November.
