Cristiano Ronaldo And Lionel Messi to Clash Against Each Other One Last Time

Football lovers have yet another fantastic news. After Lionel Messi’s win in Qatar, we can witness the world-famous rivalry between Linoel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in a friendly match of PSG vs Al-Nassr. Although the game schedule is yet to be finished but is expected to take place on 19th January.

This match of PSG vs Al-Nassr is a long due as it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in January 2022 but was not rescheduled until recently becoming the talk all over the media. Portugal’s early exit from the game seized the opportunity but the players will reportedly clash in the upcoming month.

Fans were excited to look at the clash between Ronaldo and Messi but their different departure from the match left our desire sustained. On the one side, the Argentina team won the world cup whereas, on the other side, Ronaldo’s team was eliminated in the quarter-finals, where he was used as a substitute rather than a full-time player, leaving fans disheartened.

Cristiano Ronaldo announced in an interview that the player has joined the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr after leaving Machester United. With that, he said that “As nobody knows, I can say now I had many opportunities in Europe, many clubs in Brazil, Australia, the US, even in Portugal, many clubs tried to sign me”.

The captain of Argentina Lionel Messi was undeniably the best in this season of the world cup. With 7 goals in the 2022 edition, he finished as the second-highest to score after Kylian Mbappe (8 goals). The final victory of Argentina against France was the show steller along with the awards received by respective players.

Argentina’s player Emiliano Martinez won the Golden Glove award accompanied by his teammate Enzo Fernandez who won the Best Young Player award. Also, Lionel Messi was rewarded with Golden Ball for the Best Player of the year award.

This year’s world cup was a bittersweet season for the fans in a wrap. Messi led his team to win the FIFA World Cup at the age of 35 which shows that the player has a long way to go. Whereas Portugal was defeated by Morocco giving their end to the 2022 journey.
