UCL Prize Money: Real Madrid were crowned victorious clinching the UEFA Champions League trophy for the 14th time. They defeated Liverpool in a nail-biter encounter that happened between the two. As the champions of the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid not only won the trophy but also a huge amount of money.
Not only Madrid but Liverpool were awarded a respectful sum of money as they qualified for the UEFA finals and ended as runner-up.
Apart from the trophies and the money Real Madrid also received vast appreciation from all around the globe. Currently, they are the most successful team of the Champions League having 14 titles in their account.

UCL Prize Money won by Real Madrid
After winning the UCL title Real Madrid was awarded with a huge sum of money. Apart from the winners the runners-up were also rewarded with a particular amount of money.
The following is the amount of money won by different teams during the 2021-22 UCL season:
- Winners: Real Madrid awarded $22.6M as their prize money
- Runners-up: Liverpool as runners-up won $17.5M as their reward.
- Semi-Finalist: All the semi-finalist .i.e. Manchester City, Villarreal, and the above two teams included won $14.1M as their reward.
Real Madrid won the 2021-22 Champions League claiming their 14th Title
The seasonal football competition was established in 1955. The UEFA Champions League prior to 1992-93 was known as the European Cup. Real Madrid is the most successful club winning the title for 14 different seasons. They have won double the title compared to AC Milan. AC Milan is the second most successful team after Real Madrid winning the title in 7 different seasons.

In the UCL final of 2021-22 season, Real Madrid went head to head against Liverpool. Both the teams chose a formation of 4-3-3. During the first half of play, both the teams were unsuccessful in scoring a goal. The second half started and during 59 minutes of game Vini Jr. scored an excellent goal after an assist by Valverde.
However, Liverpool weren’t successful in scoring a goal even during the second half. This resulted in Real Madrid not only winning the match but also the UCL title for the 14th time.
