As this game has been played on different devices, the working and functions have also been varied for each device.
In pc, the functions differ from origin and steam respectively.
In Origin:
- Step 1: Launch the ‘Origin’ app and find your profile picture in the corner of your screen
- Step 2: Select the username and go to ‘View My Profile’
- Step 3: Find and click on ‘Edit on EA.com’ in corner of your profile it’ll take you to EA’s website and your account page (you may need to verify your email if you haven’t done so before)
- Step 4: Press ‘Edit’ next to where it says ‘Basic Information’then make the necessary changes to your ID and click ‘Save’ to confirm the change
In Steam
- Step-1: Open the game and click on the username
- Step-2: Click on “View Profile” which will be redirected to your profile page
- Step-3: Click on the edit bottom and you will be able to change your name
In Xbox
Step-1: Visit Xbox.com, Sign in with your Microsoft/Xbox account, and complete the verification process.
Step-2: Click on your username, which you can see next to your profile picture in the top right corner of the page
Step-3: Select “Customize” then you will be able to change your name in Apex Legends Xbox.
In PS5
- Step-1: Click on settings
- Step-2: Select “Users and Accounts”
- Step-3: Click on “Profile” and now you are able to change your name.
