As of now, many leaks have popped up and it seems like Fortnite is planning something new to introduce to its fans. However, the game has been giving headaches to some players in the recent few hours as there are matchmaking issues mostly because servers are down.

On July 1, Fortnite made a tweet and accepted that there are several issues players are facing. On of the tweet said, “We are aware that players are unable to load into the Console Champions Cup in the EU region, and are working on a fix. Thank you for your patience, we apologize for the inconvenience.”

Later once again the official handle of Fortnite status tweeted saying,“We are investigating issues that may be preventing players in some regions from successfully matchmaking. We will provide an update when we have more information.”

However, its been more than 15 hrs but Fortnite has not made any further Tweets informing about the same. Moreover, players are still in confusion whether the servers are up or not.
How To Check Server Status?
The best way to check the status of the servers is the Fortnite official Twitter handle which keeps updating every time. However, its been long since the handle dropped any further updates.
In order to check the status, players can visit any 3rd party websites available on the internet.
If the matchmaking issue still persists, then make sure your timing and date on the device is set right. The time difference creates problem to contact the server and this might avoid you to open the game.

Earlier, the issue appeared for console players but later Fortnite updated on the Twitter handle that they have fixed it.
