Fortnite Announces In-Person Competition in November With FNCS Invitational 2022, Know More Details Here

In a series of announcements, Fortnite has finally revealed the upcoming in-person competition in the form of FNCS 2022 which will be held in November 2022. Furthermore, the tournament will bring back the Fortnite competitive scene to offline mode.

Due to the Pandemic which hit the entire globe in 2020, all the tournaments and events were shifted to online mode. Now, this big step from Fortnite has hinted toward the return of LAN events in the Esports scene.

Fortnite To Host FNCS Invitational Competition In 2022, Know Dates And Venue 

Fortnite is without a doubt of the most famous battle royale games available in the market. Moreover, the game has millions of players daily landing on the map to win games. The esports scene the competition is also very much popular.

The last offline tournament was Fortnite World Cup which was a mega-hit. The tournament was hosted at Arthur Ashe Stadium with a mega prize pool of $30 million.

Now, FNCS, Fortnite Championship Series Invitational will bring back the offline events of Fortnite. According to the announcement made, the tournament will be held in November 2022. To be precise, it will be a two-day event starting on November 12th and will end on 13th.

The venue of the tournament is said to be Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.

This will be an invitational tournament meaning only selected players will be competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000.

However, Fortnite also announced that the tournament might see changes “if public health trends change, or regional laws or recommendations shift at any point this year,” as mentioned by the official announcement.

The announcement also mentioned that players who are anticipating an invite should make sure they have required travel documentation well ahead of time, i.e. passports, visas, other government-issued identification, vaccination cards, etc.

It’ll be interesting to see how the tournament unfolds as this could be a big step for the esports scene.
