This year is flooded with Esports events and tournaments in India, and the mobile battle royale game BGMI is one of the major reasons. Krafton is ready to host a new event later this month: Battleground Mobile India Showdown (BMSD 2022). Total of 24 teams will be featured in this event and will fight each other for a huge prize pool of 15 lakhs INR.

BMSD 2022: Invited Teams
Delhi, India, will host the Battleground Mobile India Showdown from 21st to 24th July 2022. The 24 teams are invited on the basis of their past performance in Battlegrounds Mobile India Series and Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series Season 1. The teams are as follows:

BMSD 2022: Schedule & Format
The BMSD event will take place from 21st July to 24th July 2022. 21st to 23rd July will be the League Stage where players will fight each other to qualify for the finals. A total of 18 matches (6 matches each day) will be played in the League Stage. The top 16 teams with the highest cumulative points will move to BMSD 2022 Finals.

The BMSD 2022 Finals will be held on 24th of July where top 16 teams will play six decider matches. The winner of this event will get a chance to represent India in PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022 – Afterparty Showdown.
PMWI 2022: Afterparty Showdown
Krafton has announced a prize pool of 1,000,000 USD for the winner of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational – Afterparty Showdown. The PMWI will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in the month of August this year. BMSD champions will join the Afterparty Showdown which will take place from the 18th to 20th of August.
