Cryocells ‘Cryo’ To Join 100 Thieves From XSET
Valorant recently announced the list of 30 teams who will be competing in the VCT 2023 season and unfortunately, XSET wasn’t on the list. This led the team to allow its players to look for options in order to play the VCT 2023 season. As of now, all 5 players of XSET, Bcj, Zekken, Cryo, Zekken and Ayrin are inactive members of the team and are looking for options.

Notably, Cryo was on 100 Thieves’ radar for a long time and they tried to sign him in 2021. But he was in a contract with Soar and was later signed by XSET. As per the new reports, 100 Thieves will finally be getting their man for the upcoming VCT 2023 season.
Cryo had a good 2022 season where he helped his team, XSET to win the VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers defeating Optic Gaming and qualified for Valorant Champions 2022 and VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters – Copenhagen. At Copenhagen, the team’s performance was not up to the mark, as they finished 7th-8th. However, they showed their real potential at Valorant Champions 2022 as they defeated some big names and finished 5th-6th in the tournament.

On the other hand, 100 Thieves secured the Valorant Champions spot through LCQ, after they failed to perform well in both the challengers. Moreover, 100T made some big changes in 2022 in order to qualify for the Champions. But, the team failed to secure the playoff spot at Champions 2022 and were eliminated after losing to Fnatic.
Cryo will join Asuna, Derrek, Will, Bang and steller in the 100 Thieves roster. It’ll be interesting to see what will be 100T’s playing 5 next season and whether Cryo will be in it or not.
