David Warner is a professional cricketer and plays for the Australian national team. In domestic cricket, Warner plays for New South Whales and Sydney Thunder. He is a left-handed opening batsman and has also represented himself as the vice-captain of the Australian team across Test Cricket and ODI matches between 2015 and 2018.

Interestingly, Warner is the first person since 1877 to serve Australian cricket without having played for a first-class match.

On 28 March 2018, in a board meeting of Australian cricket David was banned from all forms of international crickets because of his ball-tampering scandal by the Australian team in the third match of the Test series against South Africa.

Warner debuted in international cricket for Australia in T20 International against the South African Team at Melbourne Cricket Ground on 11th January 2009. He also has the title of second-fastest fifty in the history of T20 Internationals with 89 runs in 43 balls (6 sixes and 7 fours).

On 1st December 2011, Warner played his first test match against the New Zealand team at Brisbane, Queensland. He played his first One Day International match against South Africa on 18th January 2009.

And for his IPL career, he holds the record for 4076 runs which is the most by an overseas player. Warner also won thrice the IPL Orange Cap, most by any batsman, and has the highest individual score by a captain.

Aside from his charming cricket career, David married former Ironwoman of Australia Candice Falzon in April 2015. The couple has three daughters together namely Ivy Mae, Indi Rae, and Isla Rose. Warner was also given the title of Australian Sports Dad of the Year in 2016. He currently resides in Maroubra, Sidney.
