Chetan Sakariya made his debut for Delhi Capitals against Kolkata Knight Riders. Delhi Capitals were eager to bounce back after the no-ball controversy. Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to field first.
Sakariya comes in place of Khaleel Ahmed and it seems it was a dream debut for him as he picked up the wicket of Aaron Finch in the first over of his franchise career.

He performed well last year for the Rajasthan Royals taking 14 wickets. Sakariya was bought by Delhi Capitals for a price of 4.20 CR in the IPL 2022 auction.

It’s a dream for any player to perform well in the debut match for their team whether it be batting or bowling and Chetan Sakariya made his dream debut. He came into the attack in the second over and knocked off Finch in the third delivery.
The KKR batter swinged his bat and misses it completely. The balls ran into the wicket and Delhi Capitals get the breakthrough. In the second over bowled by him, he conceded just four runs.
