Can Tottenham Hotspurs Win Trophies In 2022-23 Season After Promising Signings?: Know All The Odds Here

Antonio Conte has the tag of winning trophies wherever he goes. Earlier, the Italian guided Chelsea to their 5th Premier League title in the 2016-17 season. Later, he rebuilt the Inter Milan side to end Juventus’ dominance in the league and won the Seria A trophy. However, his recent team, Tottenham Hotspurs, doesn’t have a good history when it comes to winning trophies.

Spurs’ last trophy came in 2008 in the form of the Carling Cup. Moreover, they came close to Champions League in the 2018-19 season under Mauricio Pochettino and to EFL Cup under Jose Mourinho.

To close that gap of being a finalist and winning trophies, Spurs have made some promising signings and Conte is doing what he is known for; rebuilding a team to win trophies. Spurs have made 6 signings this summer and that too spending less than £100 million.

Tottenham Hotspurs Spending In 2022 Transfer Window

Spurs have been active in the transfer window since the very beginning. They kicked things off by signing Croatian winger Ivan Perisic for free. Later on, they announced another free transfer in the form of Fraser Forster.

However, the big news came On July 1st when they revealed Richarlison. Spurs managed to seal the signing of the Brazilian from Everton after spending £50 million( plus a £10 add-on). Yves Bissouma and Djed Spence are the two other signings Spurs made in the 2022 transfer window. Not to forget, they also managed to bring Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona.

This has not always been the case for Spurs as they are the clubs who are very much active in signing players. And if they’re doing so, the very obvious question arises; can Tottenham Hotspurs win the 2022-23 Premier League season?

Spurs 2022-23 Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, and Champions League Predictions

Despite bringing some big names to the North side of London, it will not be easy for Spurs to end the dominance of Manchester City and Liverpool in the league. Both the clubs have been in neck-to-neck competition for the last 3 years and now they have some quality squad.

Spurs, on the other hand, are in the race to give tough competition to both teams, but it’ll take much more than big names to beat them. The North London-based club has some promising players in the form of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, who have consistently pulled the team out of trouble.

So, it’ll be tough for the Conte side to bring the Premier League trophy home in the presence of Pep’s City and Klopp’s Liverpool. However, a top 4 position is something, which looks inevitable for them.

Coming to the other league trophies, Spurs have a very good chance of lifting one of the trophies. According to Betfare, they’re 2/1 to lift a trophy this season. Here are the odds for all the competitions.
