BMOC Delayed Again?: Most downloaded and played battle royale BGMI has announced its first-ever Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge. The teaser has been released by the officials on social media platforms and the moto is going to be Get ready to challenge everything.
Initially, BGMI officials mentioned the release date of the BMOC trailer. However, the new caption on their Instagram and description on Youtube teaser suggests, it might det delayed again.
Know Why BMOC Might Get Delayed Again
As per the Roadmap trailer released last month, BMCO registration was about to start from February last week. But, there are some delays and nothing has been made official to date.
BMCO teaser was to be released on 9th March on the official youtube channel of BGMI. The 31-seconds teaser hasn’t revealed much info, but we can understand that it’s going to be a big tournament held by BGMI this year.

BGMI was supposed to launch the trailer on 12th March as per the caption and description of Teaser, but now it has been modified to dropping soon. The officials haven’t confirmed the release date nor the reason for the delay.
BMOC Registration Start Date
There is no confirmation of anything yet, but it is expected that the registration might start from Mid-March. So players have to wait till the official announcement is made by BGMI.
BMCO will be the second tournament followed by BGIS (Battleground India Series). BGIS ended on 16th January and was won by Skylightz gaming.
Surprisingly, no invited teams will be in BMOC and qualifying will be made online process. All 24 teams will further qualify for Battlegrounds Pro Series Season-1.
Qualifying And Prize Pool
BMCO will be the tournament where no teams will be invited. Teams will be selected through online qualifications.
The 24 teams from BMOC will play against invited teams in the first season of the Pro Series. The officials haven’t confirmed the prize pool, but it is expected to be around Rs.1 crore.
Through online qualifiers, a total of 524 teams will qualify for the next round. A total of 3 rounds will be organized for Open Challenge and the remaining 24 teams from the last round will be qualified for Battlegrounds Pro Series Season-1.
