Ronald Araújo agent gave confirmation that the defender is all set to renew his contract with the club. He even said that Araújo is curious about extending his contract with F.C Barcelona for future matches and leagues.

Ronald Araújo Plans to Extend His Contract With The Club
Ronald Federico Araújo da Silva is a professional footballer who mainly plays as a Centre-back or right-back defender. Currently, he plays in La Liga for F.C Barcelona and for the Uruguay national team.
Araújo was signed by Barcelona on 29th August 2018 following a five-year agreement. He charged 1.7 million pounds as a fee and additional 3.5 million pounds as variables. Initially, he was signed for Barcelona B. He made his La Liga debut for Barcelona on 6th October 2019 against Sevilla.

Araújo’s deal is set to expire in 2023 and both the player and the club are keen on signing a new contract for the future. This information came when Flavio Perchman, player’s agent gave confirmation that the deal almost seems close and the defender wants to stay at the club.
The official announcement is yet to come by the club.
His gameplay has impressed the fans and Araujo with Gerard Pique and Eric Gracia have been Xavi Hernandez’s first choice Center-backs. According to a report by ESPN Manchester United and Liverpool were also trying to recruit Ronald for their respective teams.
