Australia vs West Indies World Cup: Australian women’s team played the 29th match of the World Cup out of 31 against the West Indies team. The Australian team defeated them as expected by 157 runs in the semi-finals and reached into finals successfully.
The West Indies team won the toss and decided to bowl, but it did not favor them as the Australian team made 305 runs by batting in the first place. whereas the West Indies only hit 148 runs and couldn’t complete their target.

This match between Australia vs West Indies was the 1st Semi-final match of the ICC women’s world cup between two strongest teams. It was played at Basin Reserve stadium, Willington today.
The Australian Team reached the finals of the tournament with great enthusiasm and a very high score. Also do not forget the player of the match Alyssa Healy who scored 129 runs (17 boundaries) on 107 balls individually. Alyssa was surely the star in batting line up for the team. Apart from her Rachael Haynes and Beth Mooney also helped the team for their final finishing touch by making a good score by making 85 runs in 100 balls and 43 in 31 balls respectively.
Along with this some West Indies players also made some good scores by Stafanie Taylor with 48 runs in 75 balls, Deandra Dottin with 34 runs in 35 balls and Hayley Matthews with 34 runs in 49m balls.
Also, the tournament is just left with two matches i.e. 2nd semi-final match and the ultimate final match. After defeating team India on Sunday 27th March, The South African women team will play the 2nd semi-final match of the tournament against England Women’s team on 31st March at Hagley Oval Stadium, New Zealand.
The tournament will finally come to an end on 3rd April after the final match between Australia and another winning team also at the Hagley Oval Stadium.
