Rohit Sharma holds the world record for the highest individual score by a player in a One-day International match by scoring 264 runs against Sri Lanka on 13 November 2014. In the 2019 World Cup, he became the only player to score five centuries in a single edition of Cricket World Cup.

During a Test Match against South Africa on 5 October 2019, he became the first batsman to score two centuries in a match as an opening batsman. In the same match he broke Shimron Hetmyer’s record for the highest six in a Test series. Also, his National and Sporting honors includes,

Rohit married his long-time girlfriend Ritika Sajdeh, they dated for six years, and then on 13 December 2015 he married her at a five-star hotel in Suburban Bandra and after three years on 30 December 2018, the couple became parents of a baby girl named Samaira.
