He started the season well and almost sealed a place for himself in starting XI. Under Ralf Rangnick, the midfielder has hardly played and has spent most of the time on the bench.
Lingard’s contract is ending in June 2022, and it’s almost sure that he will not renew a new one and will search for a new club for some game time.
4. Edinson Cavani (Contract End- June 2022)
Despite being in his mid-30s, the Uruguayan has impressed the Old Trafford fans with his game. He has not only scored goals at crucial times but plays a very important role in pressing the ball during the opposition’s front. However, Ralf Rangnick has openly said that he wants Cavani for the next season; it’s unsure he’ll stay.
Important to clarify that Cavani will be focused on Man Utd until end of the season. He's set to try a new experience as free agent in June – but also had chance to leave in January & wanted to stay after direct talk with Rangnick 🔴 #MUFC

It created a lot of hype when the Red Devils signed their own academy graduate Paul Pogba for a record €105 million from Juventus. Pogba dominated the midfield at Juventus and was one of the best in that time of his career.
But after coming back to Manchester, the French midfielder often struggled at his club. However, he proved his worth as he won Europa League and EFL Cup with the club and FIFA World Cup with France national team, he was always questioned for his price tag.
After all this, Pogba might leave the club as he has not renewed a new contract with the club and it’s going to expire in June 2022. Pogba’s transfer saga started back in 2020 when his agent said, the French midfielder is not happy at the club.

Fans thought the good old days are back at Old Trafford when Manchester United signed their star Player Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus. The Portuguese started well and scored 2 goals in his first match, but then failed to impress the fans.
As of now, he is on his longest goalless streak as he hasn’t scored in his last 6 games. On top of that, Ronaldo is yet to score a goal in 2022.
Goals have been coming less from the Manchester United side. It is often seen that the club has only managed to score only one goal. This hasn’t left Ronaldo impressed with the manager Ralf Rangnick and he might head out to another club.
Ronaldo’s departure also depends on World Cup qualifications. He is 37-years old and it might be his last World Cup. So, if Portugal fails to qualify for the World Cup 2022, Ronaldo might end up playing for fun and not for winning trophies.
His contract is going to end in 2023, but the only thing which can stop him at Manchester United is, the new manager.
